Modern Abdo Publishing: Star Wars: Skywalker Strikes Volume 1

Most comics are saddle stitched and do not hold up well when handled roughly.  Trade paperbacks hold up better, but even they tend to wear and the pages come loose under heavy use.  This is especially a problem for libraries.  Adbo Publishing specializes in books for school and public libraries and they offer a range of Marvel comics for libraries.

Abdo Publishing sells several hardcover editions of single Star Wars issues.  For example, they published the 6 part Skywalker Strikes story found in Star Wars #1 - 6 in 2017.

These books do have retail prices higher than those published by Marvel or Dark Horse, but nowhere near as high as one seller is trying to get on eBay.  This seller has 2 of these books, Star Wars: In The Shadow Of Yavin Volume 1 and 2, listed for $500 each claiming they are rare.  They can be purchased off of the Adbo Publishing website for $17.95 each.
