Last week, an ashcan of the Star Wars Adventures title from IDW began showing up at comic shops. The story is narrated by C-3PO and R2-D2 who introduce glimpses of story arcs about Luke Skywalker, Asajj Ventress, Padme Amidala, Finn, and Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Chewbacca. This consumes 8 pages and another 4 pages are ads for this title with the remaining pages containing ads for Disney based titles.

The art looks very similar to the Dark Horse Star Wars Adventures title. The first two stories look like they will be based on characters introduced in The Force Awakens with the first centered on Rey and the second revolving around Finn. It is nice to see the Poe Dameron comic will be joined by more comic stories from this new era.
