Mollo's fourth Star Wars comic, After Order 66: Case of Cody, was released in August 2018. Like it's predecessors, After Order 66: Case of Wolffe, After Order 66: Case of Rex, and Before Order 66: Case of Gregor, this is self-published unofficial fan-made manga style comic. The dialogue is in both English and Japanese.

Star Jaws is a fan-made title published in the U.K. by Robin Barnard's Barnstormer Comics. Most issues are 20 pages with black and white interiors and color covers. Star Jaws is a Star Wars parody comic designed to appeal to fans of the British Star Wars Weekly title. Each issue starts with a Who's Who in Star Jaws page like the weekly publication it is model after. The main stories are taken directly from Marvel comics. The first 3 issues are the Star Jaws story from Spidey Super Stories #31 which is a Star Wars parody featuring Spider-Man, Moondragon, Marvel Boy, and Doctor Doom. These first 3 issues use the same pages, including word balloons, from the Marvel comic. Also included in the third issue is the backup story Melinda Gebbie creates a Universe ... which uses the same pages as Alan Moore's Tilotny Throws a Shape story from The Empire Strikes Back Monthly #154 except the dialogue is changed.

Issue #4 continues to use pages from the Marvel comics, starting with Star Wars #7, also with altered dialogue. Each Marvel story is split across 3 issues just like the Star Wars Weekly title. The Who's Who page introduces the characters that will be the focus of the remaining issues:

A backup story called OIK's begins in issue #4. This backup, like the main story, are pages from Marvel comics with modified dialogue, this time from the 1986 Droids title. This issue also begins an editorial page View From the Tower by Andy Smith.
Most of the covers are by Martin Hand, who also contributes a page or two of interior artwork every issue which feature mostly Marvel's space-faring heroes. The covers, like the interior pages by Martin Hand, will look familiar because they are redrawn artwork from Marvel.

The A in Jaws from the title on the cover is taken from the shark on the cover of Spidey Super Stories #16 which itself is a parody of the shark from the movie Jaws.
Starting with Star Jaws #16 the comic was only available digitally. It ran until issue #23 in November 2017. The title began publication again in April 2019. Every issues, including those that were physically printed, are available digitally on Robin Barnard's blog Images Degraded Forever.
Mollo's second Star Wars comic, After Order 66: Case of Rex, was released at Comiket C92 in August 2017. This self-published, unofficial fan-made comic is manga style. It is slightly larger than a standard comic, measuring 7" x 10", and contains 64 black and white pages. Like Order 66: Case of Wolffe, the dialogue is in both English and Japanese.
Captain Rex is arguably the best known clone trooper, having appeared in 66 episodes (was this done on purpose?) of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series and over 20 episodes of Star Wars Rebels animated show. He was introduced in The Clone Wars film that led into the television show. The story inside the comic chronicles events after Order 66 was executed and includes significant appearances by Ahsoka Tano as well as Darth Vader. The story ends with Captain Rex, Captain Gregor, and Commander Wolffe all aboard a spacecraft and fits nicely into canon. These three clone troopers would appear together years later on the planet Seelos in the episode "The Lost Commanders" in the 3rd episode of the 2nd season of the Rebels animated series.

The sturdy cover is a profile of Captain Rex. I'm hoping Mollo's next comic will be about Captain Gregor to complete the series about the trio of clone troopers that survived together for many, many years.

The Comic Market or Comiket is a gathering of thousands of self-publishing groups that takes place at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center. Started in 1975, the event now attracts over half a million attendees and sees sales of over 8 million doujinshis or self-published books. Mollo, a Japanese artist who uses the pseudonym Trash 1, was invited to attend Comiket C91 and self-published a well received comic titled After Order 66: Case of Wolffe. Commander Wolffe is a clone trooper introduced in "Rising Malevolence" the second episode of season one of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. He appears in several episodes of that series and is also featured in two episodes of the Star Wars: Rebels animated series.

Commander Wolffe is shown on the front cover of this unofficial fan-made comic. The book is slightly larger than a standard comic, measuring 7" x 10". This 44-page manga has black and white interior pages and comes with a thick cover. The word balloons are in English and Japanese. This is an extremely well made comic and while the artist is considered an amateur, the artwork looks professional.
A followup comic, After Order 66: Case of Rex, was offered at Comiket C92 in August 2017 and is available for order online at Etsy.
This is not actually a comic yet. I ran across the article Help Make Jawa Adventures Comic A Reality! on TheForce.net and I thought I would help out. Otis Frampton, creator of the all age comic Oddly Normal published by Image Comics, wants to draw a title featuring Jawas for Marvel Comics or IDW. In his blog posting "Jawa Adventures" Comic Pitch! he explains why he should be given the job and has many sample drawings showing what such a comic would look like. I looked at the drawings and was immediately sold on the idea!

Another fan-made Star Wars comic has popped up on the web called A Star Wars Comic. From the looks of the site, we can expect a new 6-page comic on the 25th of every month and so far A Star Wars Comic: Two Tubes has been released. It is going to be an anthology series and the artwork is worth checking out!
If you ever investigate Japanese Star Wars comics, one thing you immediately realize is there are a lot of unlicensed, amateur manga available. This is because doujinshi, or self-published, manga is popular with many Japanese readers. A large portion of these doujinshi manga are of the yaoi genre. This genre depicts romantic or homoerotic relationships between male characters. Much of the Star Wars yaoi I have seen tends to be about Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker or Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, although I have seen Qui-Gon Jinn and young Anakin Skywalker examples as well. This genre's fans are mostly teenage girls and young women. There is definitely a cultural difference between Japanese and Western views with regards to this material. It is not material I ever consider picking up, not only because it is not interesting as a genre to me, but because I'm also fearful of violating U.S. indecency laws by importing it into this country.
Luckily, not all Star Wars doujinshi is of the yaoi flavor. There are fan-made Star Wars manga that are of an innocent, humorous nature.

This details about this Japanese Star Wars manga is unknown to me. The book is full of gags, none of which I really understand. On the front cover, you can see Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Chewbacca, which is how they are depicted on the pages inside. While Luke and Han are modeled as traditional manga characters, Chewbacca is drawn to look cute and funny. The back cover shows what I presume is Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The Korean Star Wars: Before the Force Awakens online comic by writer and artist Hong Jacga has received considerable attention since it began earlier this year in April and was announced as part of the new canon. Over the years, there have been many fan-made comics produced for Star Wars. The first fan-made comic I became aware of many years ago was called Jawa Force by Dave Myatt and Morgan Purdie which was produced for the web. These fan-made comics range from amateur to professional, but they all have one thing in common, an appreciation for the Star Wars movies. The latest fan-made Star Wars comic I became aware of is called Green Leader by cartoonist Daniel Warren Johnson. This comic is only 11 pages long, but they are a very impressive 11 pages.
